Heroutice · Central Bohemia
A family farm standing alone by the woods, in the smallest village in the Czech Republic. From Friday to Sunday the whole estate is yours. An open-air ceremony, a reception for 180 whatever the weather, beds for 110 people, and horses grazing a few steps away.
The place
Heroutice is the smallest village in the country. A handful of buildings, a pond, woods all around and a family farm with fine horses. There is no main road, no neighbours over the fence and nobody to tell you at ten in the evening that it is over.
That is exactly what makes Heroutice a venue you never have to share. You take the estate for the whole weekend, arrive on Friday, set everything up without rushing and leave on Sunday. No hurry, and no driving between the ceremony, the reception and a hotel.
The nearest house is beyond the woods. The music can play until you run out of energy.
This is first and foremost a riding farm. The horses graze nearby, and you can ride out if you arrange it.
Neveklov, south of Prague. Far enough for quiet, close enough that everyone makes it.
Beds for 110 guests on the estate itself. No lifts to arrange, no taxis to call.
A covered barn seating 180 means plan B looks every bit as good as plan A.
You are shown around by Lukáš, the owner and the wedding coordinator. No call centre.
The weekend
Most venues give you twelve hours and turn the lights off at midnight. Here you get the whole weekend, and that is the whole difference. Nothing is set up in a panic, your guests actually get to know each other, and Sunday morning over coffee tends to be the part everyone remembers best.
Come as early in the day as you like — there is no check-in to deal with. The whole wedding can move in, not just the closest family, and the evening ends around an informal barbecue. Nobody has to rush in the morning.
Getting ready in your room, the ceremony in the garden, by the pond or under the roof, congratulations, dinner in the barn, the first dance, and a party that ends when you decide it ends.
No ten o’clock check-out. Breakfast together, the last of the dessert table, a walk down to the horses — and the estate stays yours until you decide to leave.
Ceremony spots
Three spots within a minute of each other, so you can decide on the day, by the weather and the mood. Nobody has to be driven anywhere, they simply walk across. And if it starts raining in the morning, the ceremony moves under the roof and nothing else has to change.
A lawn, shade when the day is hot, and room to seat everyone. The choice for elderly relatives and for children who will not sit still.
Water, reeds and the light off the surface. The ceremony stands on a wooden pier, with the guests on the bank.
Raining? The ceremony moves into the barn and the day carries on unchanged. This photo is from one of those weddings, could you tell?
The barn
A large country barn of stone and solid timber. 310 m² of floor, seating 150 to 180 guests, with room left over for the bar, the dessert table, a photo corner and a dance floor. It is covered and heated even at the edges of the season, so the weather is nothing to worry about.
Six taps right there in the room, beer and soft drinks alike. Nobody queues.
Cocktails for those for whom beer is not enough.
A dedicated area for the buffet and salad bar, with a prep kitchen next door.
The equipment and the chilling to keep the dessert table fresh all evening.
A professional sound system built into the place, which you can run yourselves, and room for a band. No volume limit and no curfew.
There is always room for a photo booth, and guests use it all night.
Accommodation
Three kinds of room on the estate, a short walk from the barn. Parents and older relatives take the rooms with their own bathrooms; friends are perfectly happy in the cabins. Some of the rooms are step-free. No one has to arrange a lift or a bed nearby.

What's included
Your budget here rests on three clear lines, all known in advance. No corkage, nothing for music after midnight and nothing for cleaning.
The wedding part of the estate in complete privacy, Friday to Sunday and with no time limits: the ceremony spots, the barn with its taps and bar, the garden, the catering facilities and parking for every guest. Full table settings, decorations, technical equipment, coordination and cleaning are included. Lukáš stays on hand from the first visit right through to Sunday.
The guesthouse is yours alone for the weekend — your guests never run into strangers. Charged per bed actually used, not as a flat fee for the whole guesthouse: you pay only for those who really stay.
Food and drink for the whole stay, breakfasts included. The taps, the bar, the buffet and the dessert table all from one place. Bring your own wine and spirits with no corkage.
We will gladly help you pick from tried and tested local suppliers — dessert table, floral decorations, photography and video. Ours are never a condition, though: the band, the flowers, the photographer and the planner are entirely yours to bring, and we take no commission either way.
Galerie
The gallery is split into six parts. Pick the one you care about and it opens on its own.
Couples
The people who can tell you most about Heroutice are the ones who have already had their wedding here. The reviews below come from Google, where you can read the rest.
„Of all the wedding venues we drove out to see, Heroutice was the obvious one. Everything in one place, lovely spots for the ceremony, a big meadow for afternoon games. No noise limit, the party here certainly does not end at ten. […] We trusted Lukáš and his team completely, so we had nothing to worry about all day.“
Klára Korityáková
„We settled everything with Lukáš, the owner, from the price to how it would run. The whole wedding day was beautifully organised, and whatever the witnesses did not handle, Lukáš did. […] There is plenty here for the children and for the adults.“
Kristýna Dvořáková
„It rained biblically on our wedding day. We started on the Friday. Nothing was a problem, we could not have wished for a better attitude! We knew on our very first visit that this was the right place.“
Lucie Novotná
„Getting married at Heroutice was the best decision we could have made. […] Their pricing is very transparent, so you know what the wedding will cost and you will not be dealing with an astronomical bill the morning after.“
Pavlína Fogad
„We could not have picked a better place for our wedding. Everything, right from the first contact, went without a single fault, and in a warm, human way. […] Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Thank you, we will never forget it.“
Kamila Jiráková
„I cannot imagine a better place. Everything in one spot, large rooms, the option of being outdoors or entirely inside, and beds for a great many people. […] Talking to Lukáš was first rate from the very start.“
Jana Jindrová
Available dates
The calendar shows this season and the next. Dates go about a year to eighteen months ahead. Saturdays in June and September go sooner still.
Questions
There is no limit. The nearest home is beyond the woods, so quiet hours and neighbours complaining are not something we deal with. You decide when the night ends, not a set of house rules.
You do not. The band, the flowers, the photographer and the planner are entirely your choice and we take no commission. We are glad to recommend tried and tested local suppliers we work with, but they are never a condition.
The barn is covered and holds all 180 guests along with the bar and the dance floor, so dinner and the party go ahead unchanged. The ceremony can move inside too, and you can decide on the morning itself.
Yes. The farm keeps running and the horses are looked after every day, but the wedding grounds, the guesthouse and the barn are yours for the whole weekend.
The barn seats 150 comfortably and 180 when full. 110 people can sleep here across three kinds of room. Smaller weddings of up to 60 work just as well.
Yes, this is first and foremost a riding farm. The horses graze nearby and are part of the character of the place. They are not part of the wedding programme, but we can arrange pony rides for the children.
Write to us through the form or call. We send back full details and prices straight away. If it appeals, we arrange a visit and Lukáš, the owner and coordinator, shows you round.
About an hour by car, down the D1 and on towards Neveklov. Parking is on the estate and copes with a large wedding.
Getting here
About an hour from Prague. Put Heroutice 1, Neveklov into your satnav. It brings you right to the gate.

Once a date is confirmed we send you full written directions, ready to forward to guests or drop straight into your invitations.
