A family farm standing alone by the woods, in the smallest village in the Czech Republic. From Friday to Sunday the whole estate is yours. An open-air ceremony, a reception for 180 whatever the weather, beds for 110 people, and horses grazing a few steps away.

The place
Alone by the woods, an hour from Prague
Heroutice is the smallest village in the country. A handful of buildings, a pond, woods all around and a family farm with fine horses. There is no main road, no neighbours over the fence and nobody to tell you at ten in the evening that it is over.
That is exactly what makes Heroutice a venue you never have to share. You take the estate for the whole weekend, arrive on Friday, set everything up without rushing and leave on Sunday. No hurry, and no driving between the ceremony, the reception and a hotel.

The nearest house is beyond the woods. The music can play until you run out of energy.

This is first and foremost a riding farm. The horses graze nearby, and you can ride out if you arrange it.

The weekend
Three days, not one afternoon
Most venues give you twelve hours and turn the lights off at midnight. Here you get the whole weekend, and that is the whole difference. Nothing is set up in a panic, your guests actually get to know each other, and Sunday morning over coffee tends to be the part everyone remembers best.

Arriving on Friday
You take over the estate: decorating, building, rehearsing. Close family and witnesses settle into their rooms and the evening ends around an informal barbecue. Nobody has to rush in the morning.

The wedding day
Getting ready in your room, the ceremony in the garden, by the pond or under the roof, congratulations, dinner in the Grillhouse, the first dance, and a party that ends when you decide it ends.

A slow Sunday
Breakfast together, the last of the dessert table, a walk down to the horses and an unhurried goodbye.
Ceremony spots
Where you say yes
Three spots within a minute of each other, so you can decide on the day, by the weather and the mood. Nobody has to be driven anywhere, they simply walk across. And if it starts raining in the morning, the ceremony moves under the roof and nothing else has to change.

A lawn, shade when the day is hot, and room to seat everyone. The choice for elderly relatives and for children who will not sit still.

By the pond
Water, reeds and the afternoon light behind you, especially in the hour before sunset. The ceremony stands on a wooden pier over the water.

Grillhouse
The heart of the day
A large country barn of stone and solid timber. 310 m² of floor, seating 150 to 180 guests, with room left over for the bar, the dessert table, a photo corner and a dance floor. It is covered, so the weather is never something you have to count on.

Six taps, among them Pilsner, Kozel, prosecco, Aperol Spritz and Kofola. Nobody queues.

A staffed bar
Cocktails for those for whom beer is not enough. We arrange the bartender.

Space for caterers
A dedicated area for the buffet and salad bar, with a prep kitchen next door.

Dessert table & cake
Its own corner for the sweet table, which keeps working all evening.

Dance floor, DJ or band
A dance floor with power laid on. No volume limit and no curfew.

A fixed spot for the photo booth. Guests find it themselves and use it all night.

Three kinds of room on the estate, a short walk from the Grillhouse. Parents and older relatives take the rooms with their own bathrooms; friends are perfectly happy in the cabins. No one has to arrange a lift or a bed nearby.

What's included
Three items.
Your budget here rests on three clear lines, all known in advance. No corkage, no charge for bringing your own caterer, nothing for music after midnight and nothing for cleaning. What you bring, and who you bring it with, is entirely up to you.

The wedding itself
The whole place from Friday to Sunday, yours alone: the ceremony spots, the Grillhouse with its taps and bar, the garden, the catering facilities and parking for every guest. Lukáš stays on hand from the first visit right through to Sunday.

Accommodation
Charged per bed actually used, not as a flat fee for the whole guesthouse. You pay only for the guests who really stay.

Catering
We can do the food and the drinks in full, if you order them from us. The taps, the bar, the buffet and the dessert table all from one place, so there is nobody else to chase.
You choose your own suppliers
There is no approved supplier list and no commission. You can order the catering from us, but you do not have to, and the band, the flowers, the photographer and the planner are entirely yours to bring. If you would rather have a starting point, we will gladly recommend people who have worked here and know the place. None of it is a condition.

Questions
What couples ask us most
How late can the music play?
There is no limit. The nearest home is beyond the woods, so quiet hours and neighbours complaining are not something we deal with. You decide when the night ends, not a set of house rules.
Do we have to use your caterer?
No. The caterer, the band, the flowers and the photographer are entirely your choice and we take no commission. A prep kitchen is part of the estate. If you would like suggestions, we will happily pass on the people who have worked here before.
What if it rains?
The Grillhouse is covered and holds all 180 guests along with the bar and the dance floor, so dinner and the party go ahead unchanged. The ceremony can move inside too, and you can decide on the morning itself.
Is the estate ours alone?
Yes. We take no other booking during a wedding weekend. The farm keeps running, the horses are looked after every day, but the wedding grounds, the guesthouse and the Grillhouse are yours for the whole weekend.
How many guests fit?
The Grillhouse seats 150 comfortably and 180 when full. 110 people can sleep here across three kinds of room. Smaller weddings of up to 60 work just as well.
Are there horses on the farm?
Yes, this is first and foremost a riding farm. The horses graze nearby and are part of the character of the place, and you can ride out if you arrange it. They are not, however, part of the wedding programme.
How does booking a date work?
Write to us through the form or call. We send back full details and prices straight away. If it appeals, we arrange a visit and Lukáš, the owner and coordinator, shows you round. A date is only held firmly after that visit.
How far is Heroutice from Prague?
About an hour by car, down the D1 and on towards Neveklov. Parking is on the estate and copes with a large wedding.

Because everyone sleeps on site, most couples simply arrange lifts. Nobody travels back at night and there are no taxis to organise.
